Giro d’Italia (17 may 2026)
The 101st edition of the Giro d'Italia will stop in Romagna, starting from Cervia. This is a unique opportunity to watch the great champions of international cycling in action.
The ninth stage, scheduled for Sunday 17 May 2026, is the last high-altitude challenge of the first week and will ideally close the initial phase of the race. The Cervia - Corno alle Scale stage is 184 km long and is a mixed stage with mainly flat terrain in the central part. After a quiet start along the Romagna coast, the final climb to Corno delle Scale features significant gradients, making it suitable for climbers and general classification riders.
